The annual ESOMAR Research Effectiveness Awards celebrate impactful projects of the insights and analytics community that made a huge impact on the end-users. A unique opportunity to spotlight and celebrate insight work that truly impacts the clients who commission it.
Fighting off stiff competition, together with Mars Food we were able to secure one of the three finalist spots for the 2023 Global Research Awards with our work on the Ben’s Original Rebranding.
In the wake of a cultural reckoning, Uncle Ben’s took action to understand inequities associated with the name and face of the brand. Through fast, iterative research cycles Uncle Ben’s was able to adapt to this changed societal climate and within months they launched ‘Ben’s Original’. With real-time insights we helped Mars Food navigate through a complex, highly emotive issue.
As every year, every finalist gets the opportunity to showcase the effectiveness of their work at ESOMAR’s flagship event (this year hosted in Amsterdam) leading to a final ranking of the finalists. Patricia Van der Hart, one of our European Research Directors, presented our award-winning entry together with Katie Kaylor (Global CMI Foresight at Mars Food) taking home the Bronze Award for Research Effectiveness.
“Collaborating with Human8 delivered real-time insights that have helped us navigate through a complex, highly emotive issue and shape our decisions. The Human8 team took the time to understand the issues at hand, translate that into best-practice insight generation and deliver high-impact reporting at breakneck speed. The iterative process and flexibility of approach are highly valued and will continue to be fundamental to the CMI team.”
